Scripture says the world and everything in it belongs to God. One things that means is we don’t own the rights to our life – God does. But when difficult circumstances come our way, it can make us wonder, “Does God even care? If he owns the rights to my life, does he think it’s worth anything? If he does, why is this happening?” Naomi seems to wrestle with similar questions in the book of Ruth and it’s not until chapter 4 that we get the answer to them.
