As part of our vision to engage in the work of spiritual formation within the life of the church and its members, the Grace DC Network is starting a Men’s Sexual Wholeness Group. The intent of this group is to be a safe space for men to engage in conversation with one another around the topic of unwanted sexual behavior, spurring each other on towards deeper honesty, vulnerability, and love for our gracious God.

This group will meet regularly in the Grace Mosaic Fellowship Hall on Sundays from 7pm-9pm beginning on March 23rd. Please note the dates below.

We currently have these events scheduled for 3/23, 3/30, 4/6, 4/13, 4/27, 5/4, 5/11, 5/18, 5/25. Please reach out to wholeness@gracedc.net if you have any questions. We are praying for each of the men in our congregations as you consider attending this group.

Join us in the Sanctuary for Ash Wednesday service on March 5th from 7-7:45am. If you can't make it to Mosaic's service, Grace Downtown will host theirs at 12pm and Grace Meridian Hill's will be at 7pm.

Our annual Fat Tuesday feast will be held on March 4th from 6-7:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. The church will provide pancakes, but sides and drinks will be potlucked. Sign up to contribute a dish here.

Dinner for Eight is a great way to meet folks from Grace Mosaic that you may not already know. If you’ve already signed up via the registration form keep an eye out for your group assignment in your inbox! A coordinator will assign hosts and participants to create a group of 8(ish). The meals are hosted in homes, at local restaurants, or wherever the group decides. The dinner should be held on any night within 30 days of group assignments. There will also be an optional topic of discussion or discussion questions should the group want to use them during the dinner provided by the coordinator (nothing too deep, but topics to encourage getting to know one another!). These will be sent to the host prior to the event. 

Sign ups for this event closed on Monday, February 10th. Group assignments will go out Tuesday, February 18th and hosts will faciltiate the gatherings from there.

Let's spread good tidings and joy by purchasing toys for the children living AND gift cards for the adults in The Sterling. Similar to the coat drive, there will be a spreadsheet listing the ages and gift ideas. You can claim a whole family or team up with friends to do so! Donations of gift wrapping, gift bags, and bows are greatly appreciated. The toys are needed by 12/17/2024 in order to display them at The Sterling Christmas Store. We will need volunteers to hang out with the children as the parents go shopping, as well as gift wrappers to keep the toys a surprise! Please let Abby Maraya know if you are interested.

The Diaconate is facilitating an opportunity to be generous to our neighbors who may need some assistance toward a Holiday meal for their families. We want to empower this community to be able to spread generosity to those with whom you are walking. If you have a neighbor who would benefit from a holiday grocery gift card, please email diaconate@gracemosaic.org by Wednesday, Dec. 11th.  We plan to distribute the cards to those requesting on Sunday, December 15 so they can get to folks well in advance of Christmas. If there is a particular grocery store that is most convenient, let us know in the email (the default will be Giant but we will do our best to accommodate other requests!)
