Children are a vital part of the mosaic of our church!

The Children’s Ministry at Grace Mosaic partners with families to shepherd children ages 0-5th grade to know, love, and serve Jesus throughout their lives. It is our priority to create a safe and nurturing environment where the love of Christ and the gospel of grace are communicated in all we say and do.

Grace Mosaic commits to:

  • Love children and their families as God loves them

  • Share the gospel of grace in word and action

  • Foster a cross-cultural community where children of all races and cultures can see themselves in the gospel story

  • Protect our children physically and emotionally

What does Sunday look like for kids?

At Grace Mosaic, we welcome children, with all their movement and sounds, as full participants in our worshipping community. Please feel free to explain what is happening during the service to your children, let them move around when they need to, and please come and go freely from the sanctuary when they need a break. Please note: all children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when exiting the sanctuary. At the sanctuary entrance, you can find coloring pages, books, and other toys. We also offer the following options for children:

Nursery: Birth-24 months; childcare provided for the duration of the service (downstairs)

2-3 Year Olds Sunday School: lesson and activities during sermon (foyer)

4-K Sunday School: lesson and activities during sermon (downstairs)

Elementary Sunday School: meets from 8:45-9:20 AM on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays of each month for lesson and activities

Children ages 2-K are dropped off after the blessing of the children, and are picked up right after the sermon (before The Lord’s Supper). Please contact Jahanna Schwab at jahanna@gracemosaic.org for more information about our children's ministry offerings.

Protecting our Children and Vulnerable Members

A vital part of welcoming our children as part of our community is ensuring their safety and making them feel very secure with us. Our interactions with children are above reproach and model for them how they should expect to be treated by others outside our church community. Each Children’s Ministry volunteer undergoes a background check, training, and is responsible for adhering to our Child Safeguarding Policy.
