Children are a vital part of the mosaic of our church!
The Children’s Ministry at Grace Mosaic partners with families to shepherd children ages 0-5th grade to know, love, and serve Jesus throughout their lives. It is our priority to create a safe and nurturing environment where the love of Christ and the gospel of grace are communicated in all we say and do.
Grace Mosaic commits to:
Love children and their families as God loves them
Share the gospel of grace in word and action
Foster a cross-cultural community where children of all races and cultures can see themselves in the gospel story
Protect our children physically and emotionally
What does Sunday look like for kids?
At Grace Mosaic, children are not only recognized as fellow image bearers and worshipers of God, but are valued as those who point us to Christ in a unique way. We have created a culture in our worship and community gatherings in which children are welcome to participate fully.
We offer Children’s bulletins to help kids engage with the sermon.
We hold Sunday school classes for children in grades K-5th before the worship service rather than during the sermon so that these kids may worship with the whole church and learn from an early age what it means to be part of the larger body of Christ.
We hold Sunday school classes for children ages 2 1/2- 5 (not in kindergarten) during our sermon time.
Babies are always welcome in worship, but we also offer nursery care for children birth-2.5yrs throughout the entire service.
Protecting our Children and Vulnerable Members
A vital part of welcoming our children as part of our community is ensuring their safety and making them feel very secure with us. Our interactions with children are above reproach and model for them how they should expect to be treated by others outside our church community. Each Children’s Ministry volunteer undergoes a background check, training, and is responsible for adhering to our Child Safeguarding Policy.
