Process & Pray

On many Sunday evenings during Fall-Spring, our community takes on one topic, hears from members who have experience with that topic, processes it together, and prays. Past topics have included: Housing in Washington DC, politics, sexuality, mental health, parenting and foster care, friendship, and more. We end each of these evenings with a communal meal.

This is an important communal practice for us because we create the space for open, honest, and humble dialogue, which allows our community to work towards unity in the midst of diverse positions and experiences. This fosters and nurtures the cross-cultural life and love of our church.
