Jahanna is a native of upstate South Carolina. She began her career in Children’s Ministry, where she developed a deep passion for nurturing children emotionally, intellectually, and, above all, spiritually. Since then, Jahanna has worked as a Writer & Editor for Rise25, Director of Communications & Events at Aidan Montessori School, Development & Communications Manager at Phoenix Bikes, and Project Administrator for The Daily Prayer Project. After years of serving in small businesses and youth-focused nonprofits, she’s thrilled to be back in Children’s Ministry, teaching the amazing kids of NE Washington, DC about Jesus. Jahanna holds a BA in English from Southern Wesleyan University. 

In her free time, you can find Jahanna devouring a good book, strolling in the sunshine, counting stitches while knitting or crocheting, trying out a new NYT Cooking recipe, or adventuring with her husband, Tim.
