Pastoral Search Committee Nominations!

Dear Church Family,

This Sunday, July 27th, we will have a congregational meeting after service to vote on the Pastoral Search Committee (PSC), the next step in the Pastoral Search Process. We encourage all Grace Mosaic members who are able to attend. 

We received over 70 nominations (45 unique individuals)! We originally planned to have a PSC of 8 members.  After reviewing the nominations and discussing them with our search consultant, Rev. Josh Eby, the Leadership Team decided to put forward a slate of 10 members.  The PSC will also have one elder representative.  

First, we would like to thank everyone who was willing to serve.  The members of the PSC nominee slate are:

The PSC will reflect and represent our congregation’s mission, vision, and values to potential candidates, engage in the interview process, and present a candidate to the congregation for a final vote.

As we mentioned previously, whether directly involved in the PSC or not, we encourage you to continue to invest in the life of our community. Through prayer (including for the PSC and its work), attending Sunday worship, community groups, serving our children and youth, generous giving, attending the Fall Retreat, and the impactful neighbor love that our diaconate so capably leads. This is what makes GMo special and will bless our future pastor as he assumes a new role of leadership in our community.  

We also encourage those who have not yet to complete the congregational survey, which will inform the work of the committee (deadline 7/25).
